DAINTY DIAMOND 9CT YELLOW GOLD RING. 375
This dainty vintage ring from England is crafted in 9ct yellow gold, a slender shank forking horizontally on the shoulders to a 5mm width. The shoulders encompass small, round cut 1mm diamonds, claw set in 9ct white gold, inset in the 'V' of the fork. The focal point is a 1,5 mm small round cut diamond, claw set in yellow gold in a slightly raised cylindrical element that is topped with an 8 'petaled' flower; openwork on the sides giving an almost protea-like feel when viewed from the side. Openwork below the diamond allows light through to add to the sparkle of the piece. The shank is solid 9ct yellow gold and polished. The ring head measures 5mm long x 5mm wide. The ring weighs 2,95 grams, and is hallmarked 375 for 9ct gold, the jeweller's signature, the Birmingham assay and 0.10 for the authenticated diamonds.
