DAINTY VINTAGE ENGLISH 9ct YELLOW & WHITE GOLD SAPPHIRE AND DIAMOND RING JEWELLER CERTIFICATE R8'000

Pretty, dainty, classic vintage English design, this ring combines both 9ct yellow and white gold. The main stone is a 0,40 carat sapphire solitaire - oval 5 x 4 mm. It is surrounded by 14 x single cut diamonds totallling 0,12 carats. Two of the diamonds are set to the side of the the central sapphire and diamond frame, creating an interesting squared off detail on the ring head. The shank is yellow gold and the setting around the stone is white gold. Dainty in size (the ring head is 7,5 mm wide x 13 mm across), it weighs 1,65 grams. The ring bears the hallmarks for English gold, 9czarat (375), the jeweller signature, the assay mark of London and the date for 1989. The sapphire is a rather nice colour, varying between dark and royal blue to sea-green depending on the light. Dainty, pretty, collectable vintage English.
