Dainty Vintage Japanese Damascene Komai Bracelet Silver & Gold ~ Signed ~ circa 1930s/1940s
This is a genuine original piece, featuring all three the traits of genuine vintage damascene jewellery.
A lovely vintage (circa approx. 1940's) Japanese Komai Damascene bracelet with scenes of nature and classic Japanese architecture.
Inlaid gold on black-patina metal.
Signed: M (or W) in a diamond-shaped mark.
There are a total of ten panels linked together. Each panel depicts a different scene including pagodas, temples, bridges, flowers, butterflies, water and mountains. It is marked "K24" on the panel with the clasp underneath.
It measures approx. 16-17cm long from end to end (clasped) and 1cm wide.
This piece is in good condition with some very minor age appropriate wear to the backside metalwork. It also has a safety chain for added security, however it does make it a bit tighter to put on the wrist. The safety chain can easily be removed if necessary.
CONDITION: All original and very good condition.
DEFECTS: No defects visible.
