So theres less friction for longer, easier casts. Sealed X-Treme Performance Drag - Huge, Teflon impregnated felt and stainless washers mean smooth stopping power for fast, open-water species. Carbontex drag washers consist of a very high quality carbon fiber drag material that makes the perfect combination of unrivaled stopping power, silky smoothness and outstanding consistency, with a high heat tolerance. Carbontex may be used dry or with a very light coating of drag washer grease.
