Autel's MaxiScan MS509 OBD-II/EOBD Scanner is designed to enable automotive technicians and advanced do-it-yourselfers to diagnose even the toughest problems quickly and accurately by providing easy, dependable access to Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs) and definitions for OBD-II/EOBD compliant vehicles, as well as additional advance diagnostic features not found in other scanners. OBD-II is the second generation of an onboard automotive diagnostic standard that has been a mandatory requirement for all vehicles sold in the US since 1996, both domestic and imports. EOBD is its European counterpart, required in Europe on gasoline models since 2000 and diesel models since 2003. But thiscomprehensive vehicle coverage is not all that the MS509 offers.
