The Danella tool is a wonderful contraption invented by Dane Ernst Thomsen

You hold the foot firmly on the back of the foundation cloth (like punchneedle), turn the handle, and the needle moves up and down through the cloth, leaving perfect, uniform loops of wool in its wake

Includes Afrikaans and English instruction pamphlet
