Danish Sterling Silver & Amber Bracelet (Niels E. From)
This fabulous, chunky, solid silver bracelet is in superb condition and was made around the 1960/70's by the sought after Danish silversmith 'Niels Erik From' (1908-1982), whose company was well known for their quality and unique designs, from the early Danish Arts & Crafts Movement through to the Modernist style pieces. The bracelet features five, large, silver domes with 'cut-out' detail links, decorated with two fish on each, along with a large round piece of cabochon-cut amber. This scarce bracelet is in excellent condition, with a secure 'push-in' clasp fitted with a small safety catch on the side and is stamped 'STERLING DENMARK, N.E. FROM, 925 s' on the back of the clasp,. The bracelet measures 19,3cm in length, with a width of 2,5cm and weighs 59,3g.
