Tahlia en haar vriendinne leer die flamenco in Barcelona dans. Hulle ontmoet die Spaanse stiervegterheld, Alejandro Escribano, maar vir Tahlia
is sy beroep onaanvaarbaar en sy weier om iets met hom te doen te hê.

Alejandro sonder haar egter uit en 'n sonderlinge verhouding ontwikkel tussen die twee. Tahlia besef sy is verlief op Alejandro, maar beskou dit desnoods as 'n vakansieromanse. Alejandro is immers een van Spanje se helde en sal nie sy beroep vir haar prysgee nie.

Terug in Suid-Afrika besef Tahlia sy het Alejandro werklik lief; tog is hulle oseane ver verwyder van mekaar. Maar is hulle liefde werklik tevergeefs, of is daar wel 'n sprankie hoop vir 'n toekoms saam?
