Dark Crunch* is a new dark green Batavia type lettuce that forms part of the lettuce range at Sakata. The strikingly glossy dark green colour and the thinner shaped leaf makes this lettuce very unique. Extremely slow to bolt and holds well in the field. The vigorous growth pattern results in high yield potential. Dark Crunch* is suitable for year-round production in mild climatic conditions. The variety is very adaptable and can be planted in all production areas. Takes 50 60 days to mature after transplanting seedlings.
