ON AUCTION IS A LIMITED EDITION NO 42 OF 950 DISNEY COMICS AND STORIES CLASSIC CHARACTERS SERIES NO 1 FIGURINE DONALD DUCK.

Since 1998 Dark Horse has won acclaim for its series of vintage-style statuettes featuring the best characters from comic books. Modeled after products that were popular in the 1930s and 1940s, the first set of Uncle Scrooge statuettes sold out to wide acclaim. In 2011 they have started development of a new series, inspired by the great stories of Walt Disney's comics and Stories. This Donald Duck figure is based on one of the greatest ever, the legendary first issue! Sculpted by Yoe! Studio.

This short tempered and stubborn duck, is given some unusual treatment by Dark Horse and Yoe! Studio. The Disney Comics & Stories Characters series depicts the cartoon characters as they were in the comics, but they are also somewhat more rough hewn than is common, with features including rough surface textures, visible seam lines, and other slightly "distressed" aspects.
