From Europe to Brazil, Argentina, Chile, Peru, Galapagos, Tahiti, New Zealand, Australia, Tasmania, Keeling island near Sumatera, Mauritius, back to Brazil and finally reached home of England after 5 long years of journey. In each place, he would venture into the inlands by by foot or horses, climbing and hiking the hills and mountains, crossing the Andes range, experienced one of the largest earthquake and seeing the disaster of tsunami, staying with the cannibals, observing the cultures, while examining the rock, plants, insects, animals, etc.   His famous next book is of course the Origin of Species.            * Classic * Natural History *
