Plot Summary:Army Special Agent John Puller is on leave from his duties when he receives a letter from his aunt, who lives in Paradise, Florida. She writes about mysterious happenings in her town and expresses fear for her safety. When Puller arrives in Paradise, he finds his aunt dead under suspicious circumstances. Although the local police dismiss the case as an accidental death, Puller suspects foul play.
