Days Gone PS4

Days Gone is a third-person, open-world, action-adventure survival game for the PS4, set in a post-apocalyptic Pacific Northwest two years after a pandemic has turned much of humanity into "Freakers" (zombie-like creatures). 

Gameplay and Mechanics

The player takes on the role of Deacon St. John, an outlaw-turned-drifter and bounty hunter who was a member of the Mongrels motorcycle club. 

• Motorcycle Travel: The primary mode of transport is Deacon's customizable Drifter bike, which consumes fuel and can be damaged, requiring players to scavenge for resources to maintain and refuel it.
• Combat and Survival: The game emphasizes survival mechanics, including scavenging for crafting materials to create weapons, traps, and explosives. Players engage in a mix of stealth, melee combat, and third-person shooting.
• Hordes: A key feature is the presence of massive "hordes" of Freakerssometimes hundreds strongwhich require tactical planning, environmental traps, and strategic use of choke points to defeat.
• Dynamic World: The open world features a day/night cycle and dynamic weather, such as snow and rain, which affect visibility and the motorcycle's handling. The Freakers' behavior also changes; they are more aggressive and numerous at night.
