The full title is De Eerste Schipvaart der Nederlanders naar Oost-Indi onder Cornelis De Houtman 1595-1597 Journalen, Documenten en Andere Bescheiden. Hardcover published 1915 by'S-Gravenhage Martinus Nijhoff, no jacket. A volume of the "Werken Uitgegeven door De Linschoten-Vereeniging VII" (being volume 7 of the series of 118 volumes published, the last in 2019), "Uitgegeven en Toegelicht door G.P. Rouffaer en J.W. Ijzerman". "D'eerste Boeck van Willem Lodewycksz". Part 1 only, of a set of 3, the others of the set being numbered 25 and 32, of 1925 and 1929 respectively. The boards are square, with wear to the edges and corners. The first and last end-papers are tanned, with some foxing to some initial pages, but the pages are otherwise clean and unmarked. Both the fold-out and removable maps in the rear of the book are present and intact, though the edges of the top surface of the removable one are tanned.
