Dead or Alive 4 follows the interconnecting pathways of the combatants who take part in the grand martial arts tournament that is being touted as the final battle, “the one that will settle everything.” Currently in a state of deep corruption, DOATEC has suffered the loss of its founder Fame Douglas. Born of the DNA taken from Mugen Tenshin Ninja Kasumi, Alpha-152 is the result of the culmination of the professor’s efforts in hyper-cloning technology.

Speaking of the Mugen Tenshin Clan, they have gathered halfway across the world in order to fight back against the DOATEC organization to which so many of their people have suffered. Lead by Hayate, the clan seeks their revenge under his direction. The order is simple. “DOATEC must be destroyed!”

At the start of the game, the characters that are available to select include Kasumi, Ryu Hayabusa, Kokoro, Hitomi, Brad Wong, Eliot, Bass, Zack, Jann Lee, Leifang, Tina, La Marisposa, Bayman, Christie, Ayana and Hayate.
