Hardcover published by Howard Timmins, undated, but the foreword by George Aschman is dated august 1955. No jacket. The boards are bowed, and the corners are bumped. While generally aged, the pages are otherwise clean and unmarked. A selection of letters previousy published in the Cape Times magazine. From the introduction by Alan Forrest: "However, this book, to my mind, is a valuable bit of Africana. It portrays the feelings, the desires, dreams and hates of a big slice of South African people in this year of 1955."
