Hardcover without jacket - boards show a bit of rubbing. There is quite a bit of age toning present. What makes this a charming copy is not only the two menus pasted in the front and back (from the Burma Star Association's annual VJ dinner for 1970 to 1971) but also two letters (photocopied, not original) pasted in. One from the author's secretary to JB Scott (Treasurer and 13 Frontier Force Rifles) and one from Lord Mountbatten. The previous owner name in the book is John Lincey who was the president of the Burma Star Association in Southern Africa (Port Elizabeth). All this makes for a charming piece of history.
Please see pics as they form part of the description.
