AN ORIGINAL DELFT CERAMIC DISH MARKED WITH THE DUTCH DELFT "VLES" (JAR) SYMBOL AS WELL AS THE STYLIZED INITIALS OF ARTIST AND THE DATE CODE ON THE RIGHT.

THE ITEM WAS CRAFTED IN 1955 IN DELFT AND HAND PAINTED IN A LUXURIOUS BLUE DEPICTING LEAVES DRAPED INTO THE DISH FROM A SCALLOPED BLUE TRIMMED RIM. A FLOWER OCCUPIES THE CENTER OF THE DISH

A WIRED HAS BEEN THREADED THROUGH THE NATURAL HOLES IN THE BACK TO DISPLAY THE ITEM
