Lovely blue and white handpainted plate in the delft style.   In perfect used vintage condition.    My research on this seems to indicate that it was pre 1988.  I found the following story online but not much else.   It is however a fabulous piece of craft to have.

Geoff Crispin 1985-88 I was employed by Commonwealth Fund for Technical Co-operation (CFTC), and the United Nations as Ceramic Consultant in Jamaica.

Raw materials technician, production management, small scale mining of ceramic raw materials, skills training and consultancy with private firms and geological survey.

There were a number of studio artists in Jamaica along with other small production companies
