VINTAGE HAND PAINTED AFRICAN SCENE SILVER METAL BRACELET WITH TOGGLE CLOSURE. UNUSUAL!

This vintage bracelet is most unusual - I have to say up front I can only say it is silver metal - it has no hallmarking indicating sterling silver or stainless steel, and I have no idea what each segment is made of; it has a three dimensional depth to it, almost a glow. Featuring 5 different hand painted african village scenes - each on a segment, and each articulated, so that the bracelet sits smoothly on the wrist. The segments are framed with a patterned silver border, and the reverse of each segment has an engraved floral design, the same design on all of them. The colours are bright, and the piece is in good condition, with some buff marks. Measuring 18.2cm long x 16mm wide, the bracelet closes with a toggle - both the bar and the circle feature decorative detail. Very unusual, pretty, and a conversation piece!
