NB - WARRANTY INFORMATION
This battery is rated to last 150-200 cycles (load shedding).
During occasional load shedding, at stage 1-3, the average life span is 2 years.
Unfortunately, during constant load shedding, at stage 4 - 6, these cycles will be depleted within a few months.
The batteries will also be further degraded due to insufficient time to recharge fully in between load shedding cycles.
**Please note that as soon as the battery stops lasting, unfortunately the warranty becomes void, as this means that the battery has depleted its cycles and reached the end of its life.
Therefore, during stage 4-6, if using in conjunction with an inverter, we highly recommend turning off the power switch on the inverter itself, when the need for power is not crucial.
This will preserve the longevity of the battery (please keep the inverter plugged in to the wall permanently to keep it charged).

The Delkor 1150K (105AH — 12V) Delkor Series Lead Calcium Batteries are General Purpose Semi-Sealed Maintenance Free Batteries.
Delkor 1150K provide a comprehensive product warranty on all their products. All their batteries are designed with Calcium alloy grids and plates to minimize corrosion. The Envelope between the separators and the battery plates is there to eliminate internal short circuits.
A central venting system has been added to regulate the gassing of the battery during charge stage. A gas safety device and a high impact strength container finalize this quality of the Delkor batteries. The batteries are also fitted with a with a built-in charge Indicator.
Delkor Batteries — Terms and ratings
Hot cranking amperes refers to the amount of current the battery can deliver at 26.7 °C. The rating is defined as the current in the battery at the temperature. The load need to deliver the cracking amperes for 30 seconds and current must be maintained at 1.2 volts per cell.
Reserve capacity minutes refer to the minimum current the battery must continuously deliver 25 amperes before its voltage drops below 10.5 volts. If the volts drop below 10.5 volts during the reserve capacity the battery should be charged. When a battery drops below 10.5 volts the plates can be damaged.
