Dell Latitude E5440

Laptop was my university device, but battery died within 3 months of storage, so removed it. Charger was sold with another device. Laptop worked well on charger, but tested it today using a generic charger and no sign of life was visible....might be dead.

Tested the charger on HP laptop again no sign of life. Laptops might be dead, or charger is incompatible or broken .
