Intel Core i7-940XM 3.33ghz (2.13 Extreme Processor) 8mb l3 cache. Quad core, 8 threads.
15.6" Full HD 1920X1080p Led display, Backlit keyboard, Built in 3G HSDPA sim slot with Gps.
Nvidia Quadro FX1800m 1GB dedicated graphics card.
9 Cell extended battery, 2megapixel webcam and mic, Finger print reader,
Dvd rw, bluetooth and other standard ports.
It has a 100gb hard drive inside currently: A 120gb ssd can be purchased for around R800 on Gumtree (this will significantly improve software times)
Comes with 4gb ddr3 ram easily upgradeable to 32gb has one free slot at the moment. 4gb is about R200-R250.
Software:
the Laptop is licensed and has a license key for Windows 7 ULTIMATE 64bit. But a clean copy of windows 8 64bit release copy is installed with a few standard programs like Microsoft office 2013 365. and other stuff like skype, bit torrent vlc etc.
Laptop comes with the Original 130W dell power adapter, a finger mouse and a dell windows 7 cd incase you need to reinstall windows. The laptop is in Fair condition and Does have some marks here and there like some light scratches on the lid. Screen is spotless.
Very good for designers who need the Quadro Graphics card / a high performance work station to Render. or Anyone who likes a powerful laptop. Specific Drivers for the graphics card are available to enhance rendering on the nvidia webite i.e specific drivers for: Mosaic, 3ds, Autocad, mercury and Cuda.
