The Delorme (now owned by Garmin) inReach SE 2-Way Satellite Communicator keeps you connected anywhere on the globe. It's a personal locator beacon, GPS and text messenger with mobile-device compatibility, all in 1 unit.
A vital piece of safety equipment when overlanding, hiking etc. Never be out of communication and, if you need it, help is a button press away, transmitting your EXACT location.
This communicator is new but is open box (Demo unit). I have charged and tested it and is working 100%.
Not the latest model but still retails new at +-R6,000!
Please note: Like all satellite communication equipment you have to subscribe to a satellite service provider. Airtime can be bought for a minimum of a month or you can subscribe for up to a year at a time. See link below for costs.
