No power supply required as power is obtained from the USB port.
For the beginner this is the ideal tool to learn more about microcontrollers.
All the information is supplied on a CD and with screen-captured images, simplify the installation of the hardware, as well as the use of the PICBasic compiler and programming the object code into the device.
