Depression Uranium Glass Vase

A stunning Uranium Depression Glass Vase with an awesome apple green that could only be acheived using exotic materials such as uranium.

Uranium glass was once made into tableware and house hold items but fell out of widespread use when the avalability of uranium to most industries was sharply curtailed during the cold war.

The normal colour of uranium glass ranges from a light yellow to green. Uranium glass also flouresces bright green under ultraviolet light and can register above background on a sufficiently sensitive Geiger Counter, although most pieces are considered harmless and only negligibly radioactive.
