Hardcover published 1930 by Verlag Hans Huber, no jacket. The cloth boards are square and solid, with some minor signs of handling. Internally, the first and last few pages are spotted / foxed in patches. There is a small label stuck to the first end-paper, and a short crack appearing at the binding of the frontispiece portrait of Usambara Forest. The blue top-stained pages are otherwise clean and unmarked. "Mit 156 Abbildungen und vier Tafeln nach Autochromaufnahmen". Plain German text throughout.
