This large SKINNY END is attached to the end of a skinny using an eye pin & glue. Materials for your skinny should preferably be non-fraying so that it does not have to be seamed. Seamed trims may not fit snugly.  Tshirting or Lycra are just about perfect for this purpose. Make sure that the width of your skinny is going to fit into the end of the bead.  If you prefer a wider skinny, it is neater to gradually thin each side from the centre in a gradual slight arc towards the ends. A sudden thinning at the end does not look quite so neat and may weaken the material.

Method: Measure the depth of the "cup" inner.  Using a spatula or knife and on a clean preferably disposable surface (something like the plastic lid of a coffee tin, or even the metal cap of a mayo bottle - no need to buy special equipment), spread a thin layer of glue (I use bostik clear available from most stores hardware section) to about half the depth you measured in the cup onto the end of the skinny material.  Please read here carefully: If you have difficulty, you are welcome to email me for some pic of how this part is done:  Place your pin across the skinny at the the halfway mark you measured (where the glue ends) and fold the edge of the skinny over it towards the middle of the skinny. Fold your pin so that the skinny edge and the pin loop over each other. Using a pliers crimp the pin tightly, and then start folding (looping) the one edge of the pin around the other, making sure to press each loop up against the straight side of the pin and against the material.  To tighten the material part, squish the material, rolling it between your fingers while the glue is still busy drying (this is why I use bostik clear, it is non toxic and takes a small moment to dry on your fingers and can be pulled off like a glove)  For the last part you need to secure the material so it does not pull out from the pin loop.  This is done by using another head pin.  Cut off the head and twirl it around the material (the glued part) as tightly and neatly as you can. You now have a secured edge with a pin sticking out.  If you like you may carefully spread some of the glue on the inside cup of the SKINNY END. Thread the pin through the cup until it comes out the smaller hole at the tip.  This piece of pin is then bent into a circle and eT vOiLa - you have created a link to which you could add tassles, charms, chain, etc. The only limit is your imagination.

You may want to wait a few seconds for the glue to dry before doing the other end of the skinny.

A quicker way is to use a circular ribbon-type end, but it is not always easy to find the right size - I do have some on sale if you would like to experiment.
