DeWALT 18V 5 Ah Li-ion Battery Kit

Product Overview

More work. Fewer charges

DEWALT® POWERSTACK batteries take productivity to the next level. Experience enhanced power, efficiency and lifespan unlike any other cordless tool battery. They're compatible with the full 18V XR DEWALT range of tools and chargers, for a whole new kind of portable power.

• 50% MORE POWER* : A power tool battery for the toughest jobs, with higher voltage and higher current under load.
• 2X LIFESPAN** : Reduced capacity loss means the DEWALT POWERSTACK battery lasts twice as long.

Pouch Cell Technology

• • DEWALT POWERSTACK batteries have been developed using innovative pouch cell technology. While traditional batteries use cylindrical cells, the flat design of pouch cells results in less heat build-up and internal electrical resistance.

Which means DEWALT POWERSTACK batteries deliver more power for longer, maintaining a higher voltage without overheating during demanding applications. Reduced capacity loss in each charging cycle results in a longer total lifespan.

    Why choose DEWALT POWERSTACK?

    • MORE POWERFUL: DEWALT POWERSTACK batteries help you take on the most demanding jobs. Thanks to innovative pouch cell technology, they provide higher voltage and current and less internal resistance. Delivering more power than ever to the DEWALT 18V XR tools they're paired with.
    • MORE EFFICIENT: DEWALT POWERSTACK batteries make it easy to get the most out of each charge. They use less energy and have an increased runtime, plus the faster speed of application means you can increase your output. Jobsite productivity will never be the same.
    • LESS DOWNTIME: DEWALT POWERSTACK batteries run cooler due to the increased surface area of pouch cells. Which means heat dissipates more efficiently than it does in cylindrical cells, resulting in fewer pack shutdowns. So you can get the job done faster.
