The DFRobot FireBeetle 2 ESP32-S3 (DFR0975) is a compact AI-focused development board featuring an ESP32-S3 dual-core LX7 processor, onboard AI accelerator, and support for the OV2640 camera (included). It offers 16MB Flash, 8MB PSRAM, and an independent camera power supply, making it ideal for edge-AI applications such as face recognition, object detection, machine vision, and smart security systems.
The board includes a GDI display interface, USB-C, Li-ion battery charging with 1A max charge, and full Arduino IDE compatibility. Wireless connectivity includes Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n (2.4GHz, 20/40MHz) and Bluetooth 5/BLE Mesh.
I/O capabilities include 26 digital pins, 8-channel PWM, SPI×2, UART×3, I²C×2, and I²S×2.
It operates from 20°C to 70°C and measures 25.4 × 60 mm.
