This interestingly designed English 9ct white gold ring has an unusual floral design - the 19mm wide x 13mm long ring head features an openwork design where the shank splits into 2 and curves in a gentle wave; both strands studded with round cut claw set diamonds. A stamen-like twirl crosses from the one side of the forked ring head, curving over both strands and ending in a twirl with a single, round cut diamond nestled in the tight curl, raised 5mm above the finger. There are 29 diamonds totalling 0,38 carats. The piece bears the hallmarks showing the jeweller's signature, the Birmigham Assay mark, the date mark for 2006 and 375 indicating 9ct gold. The piece weighs a solid 4,66 grams and sits snugly and comfortably on the finger. I have had the piece authenticated and evaluated by an independent jeweller at R8'800; a certificate to that effect will accompany the ring. A clean, modern feel married with a whimsical design - a gorgeous collectable!
