DIAS 88 COINS IN SPECIAL COMMEMORATIVE FOLDER
Issued in 1988 by the "National Festival Committee Dias 1988" in celebration of the 500th Anniversary of the landing in the Cape by Bartholomeu Dias. The coins are encapsulated inside the full-colour folder which gives (in English, Afrikaans and Portuguese) a brief history of this event. Included are pictures and maps.
The coins are struck in stainless steel and bronze.
