TOR, New York, 2007. Hard Cover. Book Condition: Near Fine. Dust Jacket Condition: Near Fine. First Edition. - 301 pages. A 1952 unpublished non-sci-fi novel by the multi-Hugo and Nebula Awards winning author of DO ANDROIDS DREAM OF ELECTRIC SHEEP? and MINORITY REPORT. As with many of his early manuscripts, VOICE FROM THE STREET was considered, for reasons unknown (although speculated upon), unsuitable for publication. The original manuscript was 547 pages in length. Incidentally, some of the characters in this novel (Stuart Hadley and his boss, Fergesson) appeared later on in GATHER YOURSELVES TOGETHER and DR. BLOODMONEY, OR HOW WE GOT ALONG AFTER THE BOMB.
