Pre owned commemorative quartz pocket watch celebrating the Great Trek (Die Groot Trek) 18381988. A meaningful South African collectible with strong historical and cultural significance.

The front features an image of the Voortrekker Monument (Monument Gebou) along with an ox wagon scene (ossewa), symbolising the journey of the Voortrekkers. The back is inscribed with:

deur ons verlate vlaktes met die kreun van ossewa"
