It contains contributions by Francois Van Coke (Fokofpolisiekar and Van Coke Kartel), Laudo Liebenberg (aKING), Adriaan Brand (Springbok Nude Girls), Neil Basson (Foto na Dans) and Jack Parow. The album was originally released on 19 March 2009 and is now rereleased due to popular demand.
Die Heuwels Fantasties are...Hunter Kennedy ¿¿ vocals, lyrics, bass (previously aKING & Fokofpolisiekar), Pierre Greeff ¿¿ vocals, lyrics, acoustic guitar (previously Lukraaketaar), Fred den Hartog ¿¿ lead guitar, production, Philip Erasmus ¿¿ drums and Johnny de Ridder ¿¿ production, mixing (Fokofpolisiekar), although they originally, for the recording of their debut album, consisted of Hunter, Pierre and Johnny. The group describes their music as ¿¿melodic songs written on acoustic guitar, interpreted with electronic and organic instruments. You can call it pop.¿¿
