Two volumes (complete) in Afrikaans. These two books were published some 25 years prior to Breytenbach's magisterial and authoritative History of the Anglo Boer War. They are in a sense, a precursor. Volume 1 is titled "Voorspel Tot die Stryd" & Volume 2 "Ontplooiing van die Boere-Offensief 1899"
