Born in Okahandja, Worked in all mediums but renowned for his charcoal drawings. Mainly a wildlife artist. Also worked as a farmer in Transvaal, South Africa. Became the first Game Warden in Etosha 1949 and started painting on leather and parchment. Since 1963 full-time artist. Designed stamp series in 1967. Published an album of his artworks in 1989. Solo and group exhibitions in Namibia, South Africa and Germany. Represented: Arts Association Namibia, War Museum of the Boer Republics, Bloemfontein, RSA, Private Collections In Namibia, South Africa and Germany.
