For Green Mode:
Press ADJUST / ON button to enter Green Mode directly
Align the base line on the screen with a level on the green
Press ADJUST / ON button to lower the scanning line to the top of flag
Then comes out the distance in yards
For General Mode:
Press Mode button to switch to General Mode
Enter the height of the target and press MODE button to read the min. distance you can measure
Align the baseline on the screen with the base of your target
Press ADJUST / ON button to lower the scanning line to the top of target
Then it indicates the distance between you and target
