This digital PH meter package includes:

• One meter device with 2 batteries (AG13/LR44). The buttons are flat type, but color is green.
• One manual for instruction and calibration (Incorrect, upgraded as below).
• Two sachets of PH buffer powder (Default pH4.01 and pH6.86,  pH6.86 and pH9.18 if required.)
• One plastic box

Importance:

1. The glass electrode is fragile, avoid to be touched or hit, always keep the cap closed while not using, no guarantee for its damage.
2. The device is pre-calibrated by the manufacturer, not necessary to calibrate it before using. We also retest it before sending out to the clients.
3. The calibration is recommended, after 2 to 3 months if the testing has not be done too often, or when the accuracy is required.
4. Calibrate the tester with PH 6.86 buffer powder firstly, then the PH 4.01 or PH 9.18 ones. Should the sample to be tested be acidic, the tester can be calibrated with buffer powder of PH 4.01 and 6.86, while it's alkaline, PH 6.86 and 9.18 ones should be used for calibration. Calibration with these three types of buffer powder is recommended if the tester will be used to test the PH of acid and alkaline. The calibration for this device is computerized and not done manually with a screw driver, read the instruction in the manual.
5. Maintenance, should the device not be used for a long period, simply test it with the clean water every half month.
6. Testing instruction: sway the  device gently against the tested liquid while testing (this may take a while), after the reading is unchanged, then stop and take the reading. Do NOT press the CAL button if not to calibrate, this may cause the error.
7. The pH of tested liquid should be within pH 0 to 14 and its tempreture also in 0 to 60 degree, otherwise the detection bulb may be broken if to test the liquid out of this range.

1- Press Calibration Tips: 

(Our products only, the seller's experience, manual incorrect.)

1. 1. Prepare two glasses of 250ml distill or purified water and another glass for rinsing the electrode. Add PH 6.86 and 4.01 buffer powder into each glass and stir the liquid till the powder is fully dissolved.
2. 2. Switch on the device.
3. 3. Immerse the electrode into PH 6.86 liquid, stir gently then hold it till the digital readout is unchanged, ignore the figure.
4. 4. Keep the electrode in the liquid while press and hold the CAL button till the reading is blinking with 6.86, the device can detect and identifies PH 6.86, 4.01 or 9.18 liquid automatically,  this step is completed when End is indicated.
5. 5. Do the same as above Step 3 and 4 with PH 4.01 or/and 9.18 liquid.
6. 6. Cautions: The calibration procedure is programmed, PH6.86 has to be done firstly after CAL button is pressed. Should there be any mistakes done during the procedure, do not repeat, but switch off, and do the calibration from the beginning. Should the batteries are flat (working but reading unclear), the calibration may not be done correctly (error occurs), replace the batteries for calibration.
