This digital PH meter package includes:

• One meter device with 4 batteries (AG13/LR44).
• One screw driver for easy calibration.
• One manual.
• Two sachets of PH buffer powder for calibration. (PH4.01 and PH6.86 or PH6.86 and PH9.18 to be selected)

Remarks:

• ATC, automatic temperature compensation, to revise the error caused by change of temprature.
• The PH meter used to test the PH of the fish pond water shown in the above images is NOT this listed one, it's non-ATC.
• Buffer powder of PH4.01 and PH6.86 is default to send, please send message to the seller if the powder of PH6.86 and PH9.18 is needed. You may also take extra sachet of PH9.18 with optional purchase.
• The images of PH testing examples show how important it's to test PH of the water in seller's koi ponds.

Importance:

1. The glass electrode is fragile, avoid to be touched or hit, always keep the cap closed while not using, no guarantee for its damage. When the new device is received, the cap may be stuck by chemicals which was not cleaned after the calibration by manufacturer, please pull out forcefully, do not bend or turn the cap, this may be done easily after dipping in the water for a while.
2. The device is pre-calibrated by the manufacturer, not necessary to calibrate it before using.
3. The calibration is recommended, after 2 to 3 months if the testing has not be done too often, or the accuracy required.
4. Calibrate the tester with PH 6.86 buffer powder firstly, then the PH 4.01 or PH 9.18 ones.
5. Should the sample to be tested be acidic, the tester can be calibrated with buffer powder of PH 4.01 and 6.86, while it's alkaline, PH 6.86 and 9.18 ones should be used for calibration. Calibration with these three types of buffer powder is recommended if the tester will be used to test the PH of acid and alkaline.
6. Maintenance, should the device is not used for long period, simply test it with the clean water every half month.
7. Sway the  device gently against the tested liquid while testing, after the reading is unchanged, then stop and take the reading.
8. When replacing the batteries, remove (pull) the battery cap slowly and carefully as there are wires connecting to the cap.

This PH tester can be used to test PH for cold drink and juice, watered chemicals and pharmaceuticals, swimming pool and tap water, etc. Calibration should be done regularly while testing in the labs and accuracy required.
