Digital temperature thermostat & defrost controller for domestic fridge/freezers

This digital controller can take over the temperature & defrost functions of a modern digital fridge & freezer.

This digital thermostat controller is perfect for a fridge/freezer where the board has blown, and is impossible to find, or too expensive.

• Basic Defrost program (interval & time)

• Standard panel mount dimensions (panel hole = 70mm W  x  29mm H).   85mm Deep

• Monitors & Controls one temperature. This is perfect for most fridge/freezers where the freezer does not have separate control.

  (If the fridge has 2 compartments, both of which have active temperature control (e.g. a valve that diverts refrigerant to a specific cabinet only), then a basic STC1000 temperature controller can be added to control the other compartment (the valve). A basic STC1000 controller has the same dimensions and look as these controllers. Depending on the circuit, clever use of an added relay can make this second controller also switch on the compressor when required (without messing around with the defrost cycle

• Basic digital model that replaces a typical thermostat + defrost clock.

  Ideal when it is impossible to get a temp sensor onto the evaporator for more sophisticated defrost control, or where the value of the fridge does not justify a more complex solution

• Output controls: Compressor & Defrost Heater

• 6 programmable parameters

• Display : Full digits only (no decimals)

• Defrost: Timed Interval (0 99 hours). Timed operation (0 99 minutes) ideal for a fridge with defrost thermoswitch at the evaporator

• Compressor on delay 3 minutes.

• Audio alarm (usage optional) when temp out of range

• Desired temp is set with a Low Value & High Value limits (not a Temp & a Delta)
