This MTD8 timer can accommodate appliance power ratings of up to 4,6kW.
This MTD8 timer fits Din rail DB - for other DBs, purchase an adapter
This MTD8 measures approx 84mm high, 43 to 57mm deep, and 34mm wide
Should you have a geyser or appliance with power rating greater than 4,6kW, use this MTD8 timer in conjunction with a relay (available from your electrical distributor) to avoid damage to the MTD8 timer
Tips:
At the top of the MTD8, connect black/neutral to 2 and red/live to 1.
Charge it for a few hours (it's easier to program before installation).
Set the clock to 24hr mode - this will make programming ON/OFF times easier.
Also bridge 1 to 4 as per instruction manual.
The live that feeds you timer on top has to be bridged to no.4 if your timer has the same diagram as above.
Your output will be no.5 to your geyser or lights etc. nothing goes into no.3 unless you want something else to switch on when no.5 switches off.
