Dinner bell made from 40mm British bofors shell + 20mm MG151 Allouette helicopter cannon shell 1956 

This piece is in excellent condition and very well made. The bowl is made from a cut and fluted 40mm anti-aircraft British bofors naval shell 1956. Headstamps are as follows:

• 40 MM MK.4 (mark 4)
• /|\ broad arrow (property of the British government)
• ECC (E Curran and Co, Cardiff, manufacturers)
• N (naval use)
• 1956 (date manufactured)
• LOT 374 (lot number)

The handle is made from a 20mm MG151 Alloutte helicopter cannon shell. Headstamps as follows:

• 20-MG-151 (20mm MG151 aircraft mounted autocannon)
• MR-75-F (made by Machines du Haut-Rhin, France)
• 56 (1956)

The clapper is made from a bullet projectile.
