Laidlaw comments: Comes in a square, red, fitted case, lined on the inside with white silk-like and red velvet-like material. On the outside of the lid, a triangular postage stamp-like emblem showing a Disa flower with: "DISA 79" below. On the inside of the lid, the emblem of the Cape mint with: "THE CAPE MINT / (PTY) LTD. / CAPE TOWN". The Disa is an orchid unique to the South Western Cape. DISA 79 was the publicity name given to the National Philatelic Exhibition held in Cape Town between 30th Match and 7th April 1979. As well as taking the name of the orchid the initial DISA come from, "Doar Ivri Southern Africa". Doar Ivri (Hebrew Post) was the name given to the first issue of Israeli stamps in 1948.
