Received my copy the other day and was thrilled with the content and picture quality. Having previewed the book, I decided to spend the extra for a hard-cover edition and glad I did. The time and effort that went into gathering and compiling the information must have been monumental, so I can appreciated the cost. What I appreciated even more is how well the material was laid out and I can hardley wait for volume 2 as I suspect it will contain even more information as this CARS thing has really taken off. (Maybe purchasers of volume 1 will get a discount on subsequent volumes - hope so, as this could end up a series of six or seven volumes) I did not read it in one sitting, but did finish it in 2 days. I am using it as well as reading it. There were some of the variations I was not aware of until I read the book, so now I'm looking. The thrill of the race is on again or still, but accelerated.
