BEAUTIFUL OREGAN TABLE
HISTORY OF THIS MARVELOUS PIECE: THIS TABLE WAS PURCHASED APPROX. 45 YEARS AGO, IN IT'S ORIGINAL "RAW" FORM. PURELY FOR THE PURPOSE OF USING IT AS AN IRONING BOARD. A STEEL SHEET WAS ESPECIALLY MADE TO COVER THE TABLE TOP, BUT IT WAS MADE A FEW INCHES TOO LONG. TO ACCOMMODATE THIS, TWO STRIPS OF WOOD WERE PLACED AT BOTH ENDS OF THE TABLE (SEE PICS) TO ALLOW A PERFECT FIT! THE LEGS WERE THEN PAINTED BEIGE FOR APPEAL, & IT DUELY SERVED IT'S PURPOSE TILL ABOUT A YEAR AGO.
