Divoom iTour Capsule Speaker

Cell phones, iPods, and PSPs being part of daily life, means ‘portable speakers’ are nothing new – in fact they’re an accessory. But how portable are they in ­reality? Divoom’s iTour-10 might ­provide some ­perspective.

This diminutive device goes virtually unfelt in any pocket. It’s what you might call ultra-portable (just a tad bigger than a golf ball). The speaker comes in a range of colours which adds to its  accessory factor. It’s  compatible with a range of media devices from MP3-players, notebooks, and portable consoles to cell phones.

The device has an internal battery which is charged via USB or DC sources and has a playtime of 7–8 hours. In terms of sound  quality the speaker doesn’t disappoint. The sound output is quite phenomenal at 2.4W, size considered. The speaker also has an expanding ­‘resonator’ when open, ­offering better sound quality and base. The speaker’s ­capsule shape allows for 360˚ sound distribution.
