The strainer sits on the bottom of the 25L recycling bin and separates the food waste from the liquid generated.
Fit the five legs into the strainer and pop into the bin.
Make sure the strainer will fit into your bin: Diameter of the strainer is 276mm and it sits 55mm up from the bottom of the recycling bin.
Be gentle when lightly mashing the food waste when adding into the bin; if you are too vigorous you could bend the legs on the strainer.
Strains the bokashi liquid for use as a powerful fertiliser (dilute 1:300) or outside drain cleaner.
