What is a DML panel?
Distributed Mode Loudspeaker (DML) is a flat panel loudspeaker technology, developed by NXT, in which sound is produced by inducing uniformly distributed vibration modes in the panel through a special electro-acoustic exciter. Distributed mode loudspeakers function differently from most others, which typically produce sound by inducing pistonic motion in the diaphragm.

- A very different listening experience compared to traditional speakers, beautiful with instrumentals.

- Creates an incredible 3D sound stage.

- Makes a great substitute for front speakers in a surround system.

- This set is intended to be used as mid to high range drivers in a 2.1/5.1/7.1 system.

- Size: 550mm X 280mm X ~40mm

- Gold plated RCA connector.

- A crossover is highly recommended for higher SPL to avoid unwanted resonances.

- Needs to be suspended at least 20cm from wall/ceiling.

- DML panels cut off sharply around the 100hz range so a subwoofer is necessary.
