Doc Craven's Tribute - The Legends of Springbok Rugby 1889-1989

 A fine copy of this large and handsome book, running to xvi + 232 pp of portrait A4 format.

The quality binding befits the limited edition: thread-sewn sections, rounded back, head and tail bands and five raised spine bands. This book includes some 130 autographs and illustrated biographies of the same number of players, captains separately, arranged alphabetically and followed by a portfolio of colour photographs of some 50 Springboks at home or outdoors in the late 1980s. The selection was made from more than 550 rugby Springboks who represented their country over the 100-year period. There are only a 1000 made of these fine books.
